After my dad passed, my mother told me that she could see the devils.
She said they were everywhere,
Shadowing the hearts of men.
My mother was a lunatic who skipped out on her medication,
And when enough was enough,
She was off to the ward.
It wasn’t long before she fled the world,
And disappeared into the eternal abyss.
I can see the devils now,
My loneliness eating me away.
